I am a watercolour artist living in Old Ottawa South. The primary focus of my work is in a realistic landscape tradition, but it also includes pieces with narrative / allegorical elements. Observation of the natural world has led to botanical studies and an interest in local wild edibles. Other work includes mixed media figurative, fantasy illustration and woodblock print.
My work background includes elements of design, fabrication and trade work. I graduated from the Ontario College of Art in 1992 from the Environmental Design Program. Drawing and painting was always a part of my life and I started focusing on watercolours in 2010.
